SUFFESA

In March 2015, AISES Young reached an agreement with student association SUFFESA, (Strathmore University Finance and Financial Economics Student Association), based in Nairobi (Kenya). AISES Young and SUFFESA are keen on involving members of both parties in two policy weeks per year, one in Rome and one in Nairobi, and in joint activities such as writing academic papers. Three members per association will participate in the policy weeks, during which the speakers will be academics and managers. At the end of the week, after debating and group working, students will draft a policy recommendation.

This agreement is part of AISES Young's international strategy, which started last summer when the first partnership was established with King's Think Tank. We aim at connecting young thinkers and future leaders from all over the world, involving them in joint development projects and global policy discussions.

KING'S THINK TANK

In June 2014, AISES Young reached an agreement with student policy centre King's Think Tank, the largest organisation of its kind in Europe, based in London, in the prestigious university King's College London (KCL).

AISES Young and King's Think Tank are keen on involving members of both parties in two policy weeks during next academic year, the first in Rome and the second in London.
Three members per association will take part into the meetings, during which academics and managers will held lectures and discussions on certain topics. At the end of the week, after debating and group working, students will draft a policy recommendation.

Both associations will then lobby the policy through their networks, so that policy makers could enact it, in order to concretely affect society.

This agreement is a major step in AISES Young's internationalization. The aim is to create a network of young and interconnected leaders, whose dream is to live in a European Union, in which their voices play an active role in shaping the future.
