G.R.E.E.N. has a global structure for two reasons: membership is trans-national as well as the institutions involved. G.R.E.E.N. is intended to be innovative in education and research, and bringing together world class academics, policy makers and leading practitioners to analyse both public and private solutions to global problems and issues.

The project is focused on widespread ethical, legal, social and economic global issues in order to set a strong connection between thinking and practical application towards a sustainable development for a really human-based ecology.
