A cultural challenge that the International Academy for Social and Economic Development intends to address is great, but concrete: reset values, principles and norms for a new model of social and economic development that pays attention to the need for solidarity, respects human dignity and fosters creative and responsible liberty.
There is an urgent necessity to rethink economic and financial paradigms on the basis of a pact of trust between society, markets and civil institutions in order to launch on the international scale “a third way global capitalism with a human face”.
We believe that the most important challenge of today is to offer pathways of reflections that would guide us in our research of meaning and would provide answers to new social expectations that are rising globally. This common reflection should become a master way for our spiritual growth and economic development.
